Black Diamond

While not officially incorporated until 1959, the small town of Black Diamond was first settled in the 1880s when the area was known as a rural coal mining town, drawing many European immigrants to the area for work. Modern day Black Diamond has changed somewhat, but is still known for its small town charm, complete with a bakery originally started in 1884.

In addition to some wonderful, locally-owned restaurants, Black Diamond boasts three historical landmarks: the Black Diamond Cemetery, Black Diamond Miners’ Cabin and the Luigi and Aurora Pagani House (pictured at right).

For those who love beautiful mountain views, easy accessibility to parks, trails and open spaces and small town living, Black Diamond, Washington is an excellent choice. Please give me a call to learn more about this quaint town and Black Diamond homes for sale. I’d love to help!
