If you’re celebrating the Fourth of July in Kent, check out the city’s annual Fourth of July Splash celebration at Lake Meridian Park (14800 SE 272nd St.) complete with games, activities, food booths, entertainment and a fireworks display at 10 a.m. The Fourth of July fun begins at noon and ends somewhere around 11 p.m. following the city’s fireworks display.
