Dear friends,
2014 has been both exciting and challenging for my family. On the plus side, we have a lovely little addition to our family – my granddaughter Ariana. She has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives. Each day she reminds us how precious life is and how a simple smile or a squeeze of the finger can mean so much. On a sadder note, we lost my mom unexpectedly this year, a loss that goes far beyond words. Nothing and no one can fill that void.
Both of these changes have helped us slow down a little, to really spend time together and to listen to and love each other no matter how busy we are. Life is too short and too precious to take each other for granted. This holiday season please remember that I appreciate your friendship and support through all of our days – good and bad – and I wish you and your families the very best of holidays. Take a moment to really appreciate each other this year and be grateful for all of your blessings. I know I am.
