About Marti
Looking around the gorgeous office my team and I work from (lovingly remodeled by my husband!) here on Kent-Kangley Road in beautiful Kent, Washington, I can’t help but feel like one of the luckiest people in the world.
I have my faith. I have my wonderful family. I have great friends. And I have a career that I still love, almost two decades after it began. I’ve always been driven by a need to solve problems. Finding solutions is to me what finding a cure for their patient might be to a doctor or finding the perfect accessories might be to a stylist. Which is a good thing! Because as you may have heard, real estate can be a ‘round the clock job full of “problems” (or potential as I like to say). Fixing problems & finding solutions is what I do best! That desire to help is what’s also lead me to receive numerous honors and recognitions for the work I do. But finding solutions and making complex situations appear simple isn’t the only thing I’m passionate about.
When not working, Marti, a Certified Residential Specialist, of which there are only 3% nationally, can be found blogging about real estate, shooting Team Marti TV video, dining at one of the area restaurants with her husband, hanging out at their cabin in Desert Aire or playing with her granddaughters.

A Realtor® for over 17 years, she has more than 40 years of industry experience, including mortgage, property management & more. Marti’s focus on her clients has made her the go-to professional for first-time home buyers, expanding families and empty-nesters.
Merle Reeder
Assistant Licensed Broker
As a licensed broker for over a decade and now full-time Partner, Merle’s focus on supporting Marti in all-things real estate is paramount. With his 45 years in the construction industry, Merle’s background is an asset in knowing house conditions, needed repairs & costs and home values. With a successful weatherization business in Pierce County for many years and having lived in the Seattle area since he was five, Merle knows western Washington well, in addition to all aspects of home construction. His background is a valuable asset to Team Marti.
Mandie Gramann
Administrative Assistant
As Marti’s daughter and mother of her grandchildren, Mandie has a special affinity for being a member of Team Marti. Mandie’s career in real estate began after a stint in the insurance industry. She had a well-paid desk job supporting the insurance salesmen, but she didn’t feel stretched or inspired. Her ideas in business, marketing and event-planning were not needed. Not feeling as creative in her job as she would like to be, she began sharing her concern with her mom, which (obviously) resulted in a new job!
Lara Henry

Lara is Team Marti’s Marketing Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. Bringing her creativity and passion, she focuses on building relationships within our community. Driven by brainstorming new strategies and connecting with people, she takes pride in providing the service you deserve!

Community Involvement
My local community fills my heart with joy. Like most of us, my family and I have faced our share of challenges in life. Without the resources offered by this community we would not have benefited from the positive outcomes we enjoyed. That’s why involvement with organizations such as Kent Hope (a woman’s day shelter) and Young Life (which reaches out to teens to give them a place to feel welcome, accepted and have fun) are so very important to me.
